The District Basic Education Officer (DBEO), Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, under the Basic Education Department of Government of Uttar Pradesh, has released an important recruitment notification for the engagement of 36 Academic Resource Persons on contractual basis for the academic session 2025-26. These positions are created under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, a flagship scheme of the Government of India aimed at improving the quality of school education in India. The Academic Resource Persons, also known as Sahayak Adhyapak (Assistant Teachers), will be deployed at Block Resource Centers and Cluster Resource Centers across Hardoi district to provide academic support, teacher training, and resource development for government primary and upper primary schools. The Academic Resource Person positions are critical for strengthening the educational ecosystem at the grassroots level in Hardoi district. These professionals will work closely with teachers, school principals, and education administrators to enhance teaching-learning processes, develop educational materials, conduct teacher training workshops, and monitor academic progress in schools. The positions are subject-specific, covering four key academic areas: Hindi Language Education (10 posts), English Language Education (10 posts), Science Education (6 posts), and Social Studies Education (10 posts). This ensures specialized academic support in core subjects taught at primary and upper primary levels. Candidates selected for Academic Resource Person positions must possess strong subject knowledge, teaching skills, and the ability to work in rural education settings. The role involves extensive field work, visiting schools regularly, conducting demonstration lessons, organizing teacher training programs, preparing teaching-learning materials, and providing mentorship to in-service teachers. This is an excellent opportunity for B.Ed qualified candidates to contribute meaningfully to improving education quality in government schools while gaining valuable experience in the education sector. The selected candidates will receive monthly remuneration as per Samagra Shiksha norms and will be appointed on a contract basis initially for the remaining period of the current academic year, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds. The District Basic Education Office, Hardoi, serves as the administrative authority for all government primary and upper primary schools in the district. Hardoi, located in central Uttar Pradesh, has a large network of government schools serving rural and semi-urban populations. The appointment of qualified Academic Resource Persons is part of the state government's ongoing efforts to improve educational outcomes, reduce learning gaps, and ensure equitable quality education for all children. Interested candidates meeting the eligibility criteria are encouraged to submit their applications in the prescribed offline format before the deadline.
