GSSSB CCE Recruitment 2026 Notification OUT – Apply Online for 7338 Group A & Group B Posts

Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) has officially released the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2026 notification for the recruitment of 7338 Group A and Group B posts. After the release of Amendment No. 2, the vacancy count was increased by 914 posts to reach a total of 7338. Post Categories

• Group A Posts: Higher-level positions in various Gujarat government departments with pay scale Level-5 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400).
• Group B Posts: Clerk and equivalent posts with a fixed pay of ₹19,950 for the first 5 years, then regular pay scale applies.

Eligibility Criteria

• Group A Posts: Bachelor's degree from a recognised university (stream/subject as per specific post requirements).
• Group B Posts: Minimum HSC (Class 12th) or Graduation depending on the specific post applied for.
• Candidates must be Gujarati-speaking or conversant with Gujarati language for most posts.
• Knowledge of computers/typing in Gujarati may be required for certain posts.

Age Limit

Age is calculated as on 02-03-2026 (the last date of application):

• General (Male): 20 to 35 years
• General (Female): 20 to 40 years (5 years relaxation)
• Reserved Category Male (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS): 20 to 40 years
• Reserved Category Female: 20 to 45 years
• PwD (General Male): 20 to 45 years
• Maximum age with any relaxation shall not exceed 45 years.

Selection Process

The selection process for GSSSB CCE 2026 consists of the following stages:

1. Preliminary Examination (Written Test): Objective-type MCQ paper covering General Knowledge, Gujarati Language, Arithmetic, and General Intelligence. Qualifying in nature.
2. Main Examination: Descriptive or objective paper covering subjects specific to the post applied for.
