- Upper age limit for Junior Resident: 40 Years
- Age Limit for Senior Resident: 45 years for General, 50 years for SC/ST and 48 years for OBC(Delhi) Candidates.
- Age relaxation is admissible as per rules.

Qualification
- Senior Resident: MBBS Degree from MCI recognized university with P.G./ Diploma/ DNB qualification in respective speciality and the candidate must not have completed three years of Senior residency in any recognized institution including regular and adhoc period.
- Junior Resident: MBBS Degree from MCI recognized university with internship completion certificate.

Salary
- Senior Resident: 67,700/- in Level-11 (Rs. 15,600-39,100 G.P 6600 pre-revised).
- Junior Resident: As per Pay Matrix, at Level-10 (Rs. 56,100 - 1,77,500), plus usual allowance as admissible under the rules.
