Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has officially released the Waitlist Selection List for Apprentices on 19th February 2026 on its official portal iob.bank.in. Candidates who were on the waitlist from the Apprentice Engagement Drive (FY 2025–26) under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for 750 vacancies can now verify their provisional selection status. Document Verification for shortlisted candidates is scheduled for 25th February 2026.

About IOB Apprentice Waitlist Result 2026
Indian Overseas Bank conducts apprentice recruitment annually under the Apprentices Act, 1961 to engage trainees across branches pan-India. In FY 2025–26, the bank advertised 750 apprentice vacancies. After the initial selection process, a waitlist was prepared for candidates who could be provisionally selected if earlier-selected candidates did not report or failed document verification.
The Annexure PDF released on 19th February 2026 contains the state-wise list of provisionally selected candidates from the waitlist, along with their registered email address, date of birth, district, state applied, and most importantly — the date, time, and venue for Document Verification. Candidates must appear at their designated IOB regional office for document verification on 25th February 2026 with all required original documents and self-attested photocopies.
How to Check IOB Apprentice Waitlist Result 2026

- Navigate to the Careers section from the top menu.
- Look for the notification: "Results of Provisionally Shortlisted Candidates from Waitlist – Engagement of Apprentices 2025-26" dated 19.02.2026.
- Click on the Annexure PDF link to download the list.
- Search your Name, Registration Number, or Date of Birth in the list.
- Note down your assigned Document Verification date, time, and venue.
- Download and save the PDF for future reference.
