Educational Qualification as per UGC Regulations 2018
For Professor Position:
- Ph.D degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline
- Minimum 10 years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor AND/OR research experience at equivalent level in university/research institution/industry
- Published work demonstrating continuing contribution to knowledge: minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals as books and/or research/policy papers
- Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology-mediated teaching learning process
- Evidence of having successfully guided doctoral students and research students
- Academic Performance Indicator (API) scores as per UGC criteria (minimum required score from Category III)
- Master's Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade (First Class for Engineering/Technology)
For Associate Professor Position:
- Ph.D degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline as per UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016
- Master's Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in point scale wherever grading system is followed) in relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university
- Minimum 8 years of experience of teaching and/or research in academic/research position equivalent to Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/Industry (excluding period of Ph.D research with evidence of published work)
- Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, technology-mediated teaching learning process
- Minimum API score as prescribed by UGC from Categories I, II, and III
- For professional disciplines like Engineering, Law, Pharmacy: Relevant professional experience may be considered
For Assistant Professor Position:
- Master's Degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from accredited foreign university
- AND one of the following:
- Candidates must have cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC like SLET/SET OR
- Ph.D degree in concerned/allied/relevant discipline as per UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016 and their amendments (NET exemption applicable for such candidates)
- For Engineering/Technology disciplines:
- First Class B.E/B.Tech AND First Class M.Tech/M.E in relevant branch
- GATE qualification OR Ph.D in relevant discipline
- For Law:
- LLM with minimum 55% marks from recognized university
- NET/Ph.D as per Bar Council of India norms
- For Pharmacy:
- M.Pharm in relevant specialization with 55% marks
- GATE/GPAT qualification OR Ph.D
For Assistant Librarian Position:
- Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade
- NET/SLET in Library & Information Science OR Ph.D in Library/Information Science
- Knowledge of computerization of library, Library Management Software, Digital Libraries
- Desirable: Knowledge of latest trends in library automation, institutional repositories, open access resources
For Non-Teaching Administrative Posts:
- Administrative Officer: Master's Degree with 55% marks + 5 years administrative experience in university/government organization
- Accounts Officer: M.Com/MBA (Finance) with 55% marks + Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant (ICWA) qualification preferred + 3 years experience
- Assistant Registrar: Master's Degree with 55% + 3 years administrative experience in university/college

Important Notes:

The university follows a comprehensive selection process as per UGC Regulations 2018, University Statutes, and Uttarakhand government rules:
For Teaching Positions (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor):
Stage 1: Application Screening
