TMC Application Fee 2026

Candidates must pay a non-refundable application fee to complete their online registration process. The fee payment must be done securely via online modes.

• General / OBC / EWS Candidates: Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred Only).
• SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen Candidates: Exempted (No Fee).
• All Female Candidates (Any Category): Exempted (No Fee).
• Payment Mode: Online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI integration on the payment gateway. Application forms without successful fee payment will be rejected immediately.

Age Limit Guidelines (As on 10/03/2026)

The age limit varies significantly depending on the specific post level applied for. The general age limits are:

• Lower Grade / Non-Medical Posts: Minimum 18 Years, Maximum 27 to 30 Years.
• Nursing & Technical Staff: Maximum 30 to 35 Years.
• Senior Medical Posts: Maximum 40 to 45 Years.

Government Age Relaxations: Age relaxation will be provided strictly as per Central Government rules. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates will get a 3-year relaxation. SC and ST category candidates will get a 5-year relaxation. Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are eligible for an age relaxation of 10 years (13 years for OBC, 15 years for SC/ST). Ex-servicemen will also receive standard age relaxation.

TMC Eligibility Criteria 2026

Tata Memorial Centre requires a diverse set of qualifications because this recruitment drive covers both Medical and Non-Medical posts across various pay levels.

• For Medical Posts (Doctors/Specialists): Candidates must possess an MD / MS / DNB in the relevant specialty from a recognized Medical Council of India (MCI) / NMC approved institute. Minimum 1 to 3 years of post-MD/MS experience in oncology or related fields is highly desirable.
• For Nursing Staff (GNM/B.Sc Nursing): Candidates should hold a degree in B.Sc Nursing or a Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) plus a Diploma in Oncology Nursing. Registration with the Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council is mandatory. At least 1-2 years of clinical experience in a 100-bedded hospital is required.
• For Technical & Engineering Posts: A valid B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, IT) from a recognized university. Candidates with an M.E. or M.Tech degree with relevant project experience will be given preference.
• For Administrative / Non-Medical Posts: A Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc, B.Com, B.A) or Master's Degree (M.Sc, MBA) in the relevant field. Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office) and good typing speed is required for clerical posts.
• For Attendant / Lower Grade Posts: Candidates who have successfully passed their 10th Standard (SSC) or 12th Standard (HSC) from a recognized board, along with relevant ITI certificates or basic hospital experience, are eligible.

Selection Process for TMC 2026

The selection process for Tata Memorial Centre jobs is highly competitive and designed to test both theoretical knowledge and practical capabilities. It consists of multiple stages:

1. Written Examination (Computer Based Test - CBT): For maximum transparency, candidates applying for Non-Medical, Administrative, and Nursing posts will undergo a Written Test. It will cover General Knowledge, English, Mathematics, and Subject-specific technical knowledge.
2. Skill Test / Trade Test: Candidates who clear the written test will be called for a Skill Test. This is highly relevant for ITI, Engineering, Nursing, and Clerical posts (typing test). The Skill Test is generally qualifying in nature.
3. Personal Interview: For higher-level Medical posts (Doctors, Specialists) and Group A administrative posts, direct interviews will be conducted by a panel of experts.
4. Document Verification & Medical Test: Final selection is subject to strict verification of all original degrees, caste certificates, and passing a comprehensive medical fitness examination at a designated TMC center.
